“Starting the Conversation about Teens and Mental Health” -Chat N Chew

Join Cooper MS PTSA
Date: Sept. 13, 2016 at 9:30 am- 10:30 am
Location: Parent Resource Room.
Topic: “Starting the Conversation about Teens and Mental
Health”
Special guest speaker will be Annette Hughes, LMSW of Social Concepts and Development Services.

We know what it takes to keep a child physically healthy- but the basics for good mental health aren’t always as clear.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone Children’s mental health matters! Talking about mental health concerns can be scary.

Half of all mental health disorders begin by the age of 14. Early
identification and early intervention in children and teens is essential to their current and future
well-being.

With the start of a new school year, let’s start the conversation, get informed, be prepared and learn the facts about Teens and Mental Health with other parents, and your local community.

We look forward to seeing you there.
